WHAT DO I DO

So many people need fireplace tips out there, and I’m here to help. The fireplace is a centerpiece of our home, as is made clear by the phrase “Hearth and Home.” Yet very few people have ever gone fireplace shopping before! It’s a massive gray area that needs to be cleared up. You know what to do with your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, you’ve done it before. But here we have a fire in your wall, and most of us have no idea what options are out there, what’s allowed, what’s recommended.

It’s a massive decision for the comfort and look of our home. So my goal is to use the decade of hearth experience I’ve gained while working in sales, service, and production to demystify that experience. I’ll be discussing all types of fireplaces: Electric, wood burning, gas, pellet, stoves, fireplaces, and inserts. I’ll go into probably more detail than you thought existed on all aspects of the sales and installation process. The format of the blog will be a simple question and answer. I’ll take questions from Google, or if you have a question for me, please do put it in the comments section, and I’ll be glad to answer it. Just call me the Fireplace Wizard. My power is to keep you cozy.

ABOUT

There are fireplace blogs out there, but they're all run by manufacturers or dealers.  Their information is quite likely to be biased.  But you need information.  It's a fire in your wall, that can be a bit intimidating. The Fireplace Wizard is here to answer all those burning questions as an educator, not a salesman. You'll find new blog posts every week. Leave me those questions, and I'll get them answered.
